A softer way to make a decision

A signal, a pause, and one honest next step: a gentle method for choices that borrows the structure of a reading without outsourcing the choice.

Why the signal comes first

Before analyzing a decision, notice your first reaction to it. Relief, dread, curiosity and flatness are all data. A symbolic prompt can help you slow down enough to notice, as long as you remember the prompt is not the decision-maker.

The three moves

This takes about ten minutes.

  • Signal: write down the option and the first feeling it produces, in one line
  • Pause: leave it alone for a set time, such as an hour or overnight
  • Next step: name the smallest honest action, such as asking a question or testing an assumption

Where a reading can help

During the pause, you might open a Mystica note and see which phrase you react to. Ask whether that reaction points to something you had already decided. The text did not know. You did.

Where a reading must not decide

Do not use any horoscope, number or card for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. For those, use qualified professionals and real information. Mystica is for reflection and entertainment.

Small steps are still decisions

Most choices are not one leap but a sequence of small ones. Taking a reversible step, like a draft or a conversation, is a decision, and it gives you real information that no chart can.
